Our producers are some of the best in their class and region. We look for smaller producers that are either family run wineries or small local cooperatives that are focused on making quality wines at a great value. This is a time when finding #2 in the market is the best for everyone - great wine at an excellent price for the value. These producers are passionate about their wine-making and for them it is both an avocation as well as a vocation.
We search for producers who can make a good or better wine even in the years when Mother Nature isn't so benevolent to the vineyards. This way you don't have to remember whether a particular year was a good year or not, just knowing they're wine is a part of our portfolio is sufficient. We source all of our wines directly and meet with the winemakers in their cellars and wineries; we find the philosophy and the passion of the winemaker is just as important as the quality of the vineyard itself.
