We invite you to join our Friends of IBW Club. Joining is free – just drop us an email and ask us to add you to our “Friends of IBW Club. We’ll keep you informed and updated on upcoming events we’re hosting or attending, new wines added to our portfolio and any special product announcements as well as tell you about the harvest potential for the most current vintage.
Other services we offer to our Friends of IBW Club members:
Host a private wine tasting
Friends of IBW Club members can gather a group of friends at their home for special private wine tasting and instruction. We’ll help plan the theme, select the wines, and help with food pairings. We can also provide all the items necessary for a tasting party such as glasses, table cloths, dump buckets, etc. During the evening, we will share our wine knowledge and expertise to provide both an educational and fun wine themed evening for everyone.
Invitations to attend IBW Portfolio Introduction Parties
Friends of IBW Club members get to taste the new finds and portfolio additions as soon as we introduce them to the market. Additionally, we like to solicit members’ feedback on wines that we’re contemplating for import before we make a purchase decision. Either way, it’s a fun opportunity to discover new wines together as well as meet other fun people who also love wine.
Join the Grape Explorer Club seeKing the Obscure (GECKO)
Friends of IBW Club members are invited to become a Grape Gecko and join in various monthly wine tastings around town. Since we’re always seeking the unusual, the obscure and fun grape varieties for our portfolio, we are also seeking those members who would enjoy us sharing these new discoveries with them. To get started on your own discovery adventure, just download the PDF file containing a listing of over 200 grapes and see how many you can remember having sampled. A true Grape Gecko will be able to tell you about at least 100 different grapes they’ve sampled. Invitation to join our Reserve Cellars Club
Friends of IBW Club members also receive a special invitation to become a Reserve Cellars Club VIP. Not all of the wines we import are meant for the stocking the local beverage retailer’s shelf. Some wines are limited in quantity and so special and different that we’re only able to make these wines available to a few select fans. These wines are only sold through select retailers as special order only – you can’t get them any other way. Reserve Cellars Club VIPs are invited to special tastings of these unique wines a couple times a year and have a chance to make an order at that time. This special arrangement allows us to provide these unique, quality wines at prices that don’t follow the “standard industry” mark-ups of 35-40% by the wholesaler and 40-50% by the retailer. While there is an annual membership fee, it’s scaled upon your expected level of participation and all VIPs receive complimentary wine accessory gift(s) as part of their annual membership fee.
